Our Story
From struggling students to successful engineers - and everything we learned along the way
HireShell was born from our own struggles during college placements. Despite being from IIT Guwahati, we saw firsthand how broken the campus placement system was, and how much harder it was for our friends from other colleges to get the same opportunities.
After working at top tech companies for several years, we realized that some of the most talented engineers we worked with came from Tier 2 and Tier 3 colleges. Yet, these same talented individuals had faced unnecessary barriers during their job search simply because of their college brand.
We started HireShell to bridge this gap. Our mission is simple: provide every talented student with the tools, guidance, and opportunities they need to compete on equal footing with students from premier institutes.
